I keep two horses at Grey Dawn Farm. It is a beautifully maintained facility with an indoor arena, an outdoor arena and gorgeous trails in the back. It is such a relaxing place and you can see that relaxation in the horses as well. The horses enjoy the large fields all year around. They care for the horses with compassion and tons of experience. Vanessa is an amazing dressage instructor, patient and tremendously knowledgeable. She pushes you just the right amount to get past your hesitation to advance to the next level. This is my "happy place".

I have been associated with Grey Dawn Farm for well over five years. The care shown to the horses has always been exemplary, thoughtful and conscientious. Grey Dawn has recently been renovated, having both an indoor and outdoor riding facility and over 26 acres of trails. Each horse is given specific attention to its individual needs to aid in its training and general well being. I, personally, have made great strides in my riding due to to Vanessa's thoughtful and intense training. I never would have been able to accomplish all that I have learned without her perseverance and patience. In general, a wonderful facility.

I started taking lessons from Vanessa when I was 9 and now, six years later, I still take dressage lessons every week. She knows everything there is to know about dressage and horse health. She encourages me to do my best and gives me the tools and aids that I need to develop further. I have not only become a confident rider, but also a stronger athlete and more disciplined student.

I have been boarding my horse at Grey Dawn Farm for just over 12 years and can vouch for the incredible care she and every horse receives here. What I love about GDF is that you have the best of two worlds; a private, warm family run farm, with an exceptional high level equestrian facility; ample turn-out, large clean stalls, quality feed and hay, large indoor and outdoor rings with great footing and trails for hacking. My training/lessons have been flexible and perfectly suited for my riding level. Vanessa takes great care in making sure the horse and rider are working in harmony with each other. I would never dream of boarding anywhere else.

I am not a rider, but the father of a rider. I have seen my daughter develop into quite the dressage rider and I trust Vanessa fully with my daughter's training and safety. Even if you are not a rider, it is a beautiful and peaceful place to spend time watching others.
